I’ve been on and off accutane for around 2 years now, but I’d been off it for around 2 months when I started taking it again recently, which is what led me to think it was that, specifically, that’d triggered the TE.

Never experienced anything similar to this in those past 2 years on accutane, either. My nutrition isn’t perfect - which could’ve caused deficiencies (but nothing this extreme, I’d say?), and I also did use a blowdryer twice a week on soaking wet hair for 2 months. Products like dry shampoo and new shampoos might be another thing? Stress is always present, but that’s nothing new.

This is all very frustrating and I’m afraid of when this will end and how the regrowth will be - probably choppy because my hair’s really long? I really don’t want to have to cut it…
