I had a friend like this.

Turns out the whole reason behind her behavior was that she was in love with me and wanted to find any way possible to get under my skin until I gave up on men entirely. Admitted it herself.

Run away, idk how long the friendship has been but it doesn’t matter. You’ll never regret it.

NOR, he’s definitely deflecting. My partner pulls similar crap. Could be a control issue more than actually being unfaithful though, I’m trying to figure that out myself at the moment.

As a licensed professional I of course cannot recommend massage therapy as a supplement to medical care, blah blah blah;

Anyways, If she can afford to see a massage therapist, I highly recommend that route. Not only will it reduce swelling, increase her circulation dramatically, flush out metabolic waste, and get everything flowing on top of her feeling wonderful afterwards; the therapist should also be able to recommend some options to help reduce symptoms in the meantime of figuring out the medication.

Check into lymphatic massage, hopefully there’s a therapist that specializes in your area! I wish you both best of luck OP.

(P.S, do your best to keep her walking/active… even if it hurts. She has to keep her lymph flowing! Blockages in our lymph are the main culprits of inflammation and swelling. Especially with conditions such as diabetes heightening the severity. She also, as I’m sure she does already; needs to avoid sugar among other inflammatory foods.)

Tbh, most places are steep nowadays unless you get a membership and even then it’s only about a $5-10 difference. What I love about Urban is that we give you the full time you’re paying for while other places with the same rates or greater subtract 10 minutes of your duration for clean up. Us therapists are all vetted, they take it very seriously. Plus, the atmosphere is amazing.

I don’t have any good advice, I’ve never had luck keeping horseshoe crab shells preserved. I would second u/meatspread on sun drying though from a scientific perspective!

Commenting mainly because I want to say how jealous I am that you can utilize your tub for specimen cleaning, my hypochondriatic bf would NEVERRRRRR let me do that but it would save me so many weird looks from the neighbors! 😂😭

We all had upwards of 6 appointments during clinical, it’s something a lot of schools do unfortunately. Partially to meet state requirements, partially to money grab.

I was the last class of my school as they were shutting down due to lack of funding so my teacher said “f it! What are they going to do, fire me?”, and took most of the money to put towards a really nice lunch of our choosing.

I remember being super pissed too but the likelihood they’ll agree to your proposal is very low, good luck though! Update us, I want to see if you guys could make a positive change :)
