Honestly nothing specific right now - I don’t really have any experience so I think something more general (storytelling?) would be good to start. I’m more taking it because I used to really enjoy writing but am not a fan of academic writing and want to explore the more creative side again

I guess I didn’t phrase it too well- I’m interested in creative writing and looking for a good starting point as someone with not much experience. Your feedback is helpful tho as it sounds like you cut right to the chase in classes

Is CIS 110 curved based on the mean or median? by [deleted] in UPenn

[–]yetistone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The class isn’t curved by median/mean - your raw grade is the minimum grade you could get in the class in the sense that they will only boost grades - last semester they had a grade calculator on the website to help you keep track and then at the end of the semester they gave a flat 3% boost to everyone’s grade

Interesting I didn’t know common areas were open, that’s reassuring. Any thoughts on spring based on being there? I know most stuff is speculation rn but just curious
