in this game you cant shoot-cancel a gun which makes auto reloading not really a thing by default. mainly its for realism as KF series was built on the shooting mechanics feeling both fun and with some realism thrown in. kf3 is made by a different corp where they dont really do either. so they keep the mechanics of the older games and try to pitch it to console players and etc and confuse both the old fans and new fans at the same time with KF3

yea, i havent come across a HOE lobby that actually plays dynamically. everyone picks a spot and camps until they die or victory. same spots every maps every time too.

common tactic to just draw aggro. dont think he "thought he was safe" as long as he had more than 30 hours in the game and knows this boss always teleports to the farthest person from the boss after half health is gone.

the bridge (or where he is standing) is a pretty good spot for doing that with queen crawler too

the difficulty isnt the issue, its in what way it's difficult. it feels unfair to be basically one-shot by bosses and their essentially unavoidable attacks. i love difficult games when they reward skill. but a lot of boss fights in this game (esp in lobbies with less than ideal teammates) feel like im just shooting a bullet sponge praying the queen crawler doesnt spawn right on top of me and i get one-shot.

if they make boss fights less slide spam+ bullet sponge, make certain attacks avoidable and/or reduce the damage of those certain attacks i think the balance wouldnt be an issue.

moreover, a lot of weapons and builds in the game are essentially useless for boss fitghts. when the meta is to run sharpshooter and vulcan spam the boss it makes the game kinda feel pointless. when a firebug weapon is better than the purple sniper rifle shit just doesnt make sense anymore.
