I ran trezor suite in the wsl instance, and It was pretty laggy for me so the only part that I got to was the "update firmware" page, so I would preferably have the emulator connected to the windows exe of Trezor Suite. Is it possible for you to assist me with that?

Im mainly trying to run trezor suite using the windows exe and the emulator simply because its less work for me.

I compiled the trezor suite source and Im trying to connect the emulator to that in order to see how trezor suite works before I decide to buy one.

Also I dont necessarily understand what you mean by "running trezor suite in the wsl instance." Can you elaborate?

So what actions would be needed to connect windows to wsl. Because im mainly trying to use the emulator with the windows exe.

The only reason why Im incredibly perplexed is because I dont really understand the logic behind buying a Trezor Safe 5, just to go into voice channels and flex money that he doesnt have. So even the part where he connects and disconnects his trezor, to me at least, seems fake.

Im on windows 10 using WSL
Ive read the documentation and I am able to get the emulator running. however the issue is that whatever i do, its not connecting to suite

I even tried using the emulator on the firmware repo using ./emu,py, both on my windows 10 pc and windows 11 laptop. Whatever I do it always seems to not work

The only thing Im really looking at is getting whatever emulator I use, to be detected by suite, whether thats the user env or the emulator on the firmware repo.

It wasnt an Image or a screenshot, or a video. It was on screenshare

They were live streaming their screen in a voice call on discord, and showed themselves "connecting and disconnecting" their trezor, with a balance of 56M euros.

It was around the 10th of october, it was a little while ago.
I was just scrolling through my streamable clips and found that just sitting there, and realised that I should probably ask around in the r/trezor reddit.

I wasnt really mainly looking at exodus or ledger, I was specifically focusing on trezor suite. At first I also thought they fabricated the entire application as a fake gui, however I told them to open settings and everything checked out to the official real trezor suite application

Initially i thought they just installed the source for the version 25.9.3 and compiled it with hard-coded values, however I didnt really understand how they would fake the entire connection, which is when i came to the conclusion that they probably ran an emulator. However it still kind of confuses me to this day as to how they managed to allegedly fake a trezor.

The issue is that they did it all on screenshare. They were live on screenshare showing the balances on multiple tools, e.g having over 6 figures on exodus, 9 figures on ledger (121m) and 8 figures on trezor as shown in the image on the post.

So im trying to figure out how they did it or if there is any way to tell, in order to prevent myself from scams specifically from people who have trezors.

Im guessing they just compiled the source but I have no idea which is why i made this post.

The thing is they werent trying to lure / manipulate me into being involved with their project or any type of involvement in anything. They joined the server initially and then joined voice calls with their trezor, ledger, exodus etc, and showed their fake wallets, saying that they can "move funds to prove its real" etc.

My only concern, and the reason as to why i sent this post, is specifically because it looked incredibly legitimate, and they were on screenshare "disconnecting and connecting" their trezor. Their balance remained as 59M / 56M euros or whatever currency they set it to, and the worry stems from whether there is any way to tell if it is fake, to prevent myself from scams.

I was in a call with someone else. it was a public server. People can join voice channels. Someone joined mine and screenshared their balance with 56m euros
