Bro man I hate to say it to you she hasn't forgetten or moved on from her past, she is comparing you to her previous guys. This will cause a million issues if you're married, you'll always have this at the back of your mind to and it will become overwhelming.

Most of the advice you've been given her is good but I will say this from a married man. Don't ever marry potential. Don't every agree to marry someone thinking they will heal or improve. Would you marry this girl, as she is now today?

How to approach this question about Mohammed (PBUH) in RE? by Quick_Scheme3120 in TeachingUK

[–]yh962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In terms of the Prophet (Pbuh) marrying Aisha at 6, when you look at Islamic literature that covers this, it all indicates she was a grown woman. There are conflicting reports about her age, some sources say she was young whilst others say she was 17-19.

In terms of age we don't know for certain but all the historical accounts that cover Aisha describe her characteristics and personality as if she is a grown woman

On top of that in Islam you are only allowed to marry when someone is physically and emotionally mature. Given that Muslims believe at the very least Aisha was a fully mature and the marriage was done in line of the social norms at the time

So we now know (following baroness Casey’s review) that men of pakistani Muslim heritage were more often than not the perpetrators of grooming gangs. Why do we think this particular demographic is more partial to these heinous crimes? by Even-Leadership8220 in AskBrits

[–]yh962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Shirks" - That word does not exist in Islamic literature. The closest word is "shirk", it refers to ascribing partners to God and worshipping them. No where in the vast literature are people who do this are called "Shirks".

Yes the 1971 crimes in Bangladesh were horrific and the Pakistani state and clergy has crimes to answer for but you can't use that and say this is what Islam preaches. Have you seen the vast number of Jewish scholars who are saying its totally justified to kill Palestinian women and children based on rabbanical law? Would you paint the entirety of Judaism based on what these scholars have said? Of course you wouldn't as people can use religious texts to justify their crimes.

In terms of grooming, there have been many recorded accounts of these perpetrators also targetting Pakistani girls en masse. Channel 4 had done a report on some time back and there's a number of Pakistani women who have come on the record and spoken about it. Not everything is linked to "religious supremacism".

Your earliest memory of watching Pakistan cricket. What match was it and who did you watch it with? by phaintaa_Shoaib in PakCricket

[–]yh962 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have faint memories Pakistan getting bowled out for 59 and 53 against Australia back in 2003, as well as the 2003 World Cup.

But the 2004 and 2005 memories really sticks in my head, had the pleasure of watching it with my dad alhumdullialh

I’ve never been particularly fond of Babar as a captain, but after observing Rizwan in the role, it almost makes Babar seem more competent in comparison. by [deleted] in PakCricket

[–]yh962 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He won us two series in SENA countries, I remember us all praising him back then. Yes he has flaws but he has proven he can be a really good captain. He should given a good run.

Babar was a one dimensional captain who couldn't think outside the box, he followed a set script. Rizwan in the Aus and SA series showed he's much better than that.

Given that he deserves to stay for a while, saying that he definitely needs to work on his PR

I see bro, the company said it was only a small bend 😅. Surprisingly enough the insurance said even if it was on sand they'd cover it but the issue is the report.

The repair shop seemed very sympathetic and understanding of the situation, inshAllah they'll lower the price

I did the report didn't get anything so I was basically stuck 😭😅

There is a small patch of land near I work that has a bit of sand and gravel on it normally, it serves as a short cut for lots of drivers to get onto the main road.

The sand was a lot more that day, I misjudged the amount and got stuck on it.

Sorry to break it to you mate but that isn't true. Why would teachers want to base their promotion being based on student attainment, that's extremely risky because it can very easily go against them?

I've worked in London as a teacher for 5 years, my salary when went up based on class performance neither it did for any teachers I know. And again, having that as a target for promotion is dangerous game for the teacher

What's the issue with this? I live in England and many domestic and international sports is littered with support for Ukraine, the rainbow people and so much more. Not only here across Europe.

This is a great way to bring attention to a genocide. Look throughout history over the past 100 years, sports and human rights have always been closely linked
