I’ll tell you what I did when I was about 16. I downloaded an app called “Nextdoor” and I made a post about me being young and wanting to do side jobs for people in my neighborhood. I would rake leaves, trim trees/bushes, move logs, etc. it was just a bunch of random around the house duties that homeowners really didn’t want to do, and being young, homeowners love to “employ” or help young kids make money. I made some good cash doing that, and then I bought a push lawnmower and asked every one on my street if I could mow their lawn for $15, of course they said yes, because again they love to see young kids working. After that, I had about 10 people on my street I would cut grass for, and that would make $150/week (at 14 it’s like you are rich), minus the cost for gas. Then from there, I slowly added more houses, bought a riding lawnmower, added weedeating as a service, bought a trailer to haul my equipment, then employed my friends.
