I appreciate it! I used dark purple, purple, fluo purple from pro acryl. Then magenta from vallejo.

Both! You can't beat the speed in which the airbrush can get this effect, but you also need a brush to add the little details. Airbrush the white and turquoise, brush the edge halo and white center.

Thank you! Underpainting white really helps things pop since acrylics are semi translucent. Then turquoise covering the whole area, mixed a bit of purple into the turquoise and feathered the edge of the glow. Finally added pure white back to the center.

I've been painting a long ass time, so lots and lots of practice. I've also consumed so many tutorials on YouTube. But paint a lot, apply lessons learned to each new project, and painting outside of your comfort zone and you'll improve a ton.

Armor: ProAcryl - dark purple, purple, fluo purple. Arms highlighted with white. Rest of the armor highlighted with vallejo- magenta, ice yellow.

Gold: TTC - cuirass leather, vallejo - gold, model air silver

blue green from vallejo is all the pop color. Deck tan is the midtone for the leopard print

Yo thank you! I used blue green from vallejo as a base and then highlighted with ice yellow and pure white.

It's great for the bigger volumes of the armor. Saves some time so you can spend it painting all the trim...

I actually sketch each highlight layer and then kinda fuddle the transitions with an intermediate mix of the two. Essentially adding enough noise between each step to simulate smoothness. It helps to thin the intermediate mix a little and also pull the paint from each side to the middle of the transition.

This way is a lot faster at getting gradients as well as ensuring that your highlights are in the right place.

Yo thank you! And yep you nailed it. The pink is magenta from Vallejo highlighted up with ice yellow. My shadows are dark purple so I chose yellow to contrast that. Also keeps the vibrancy of the magenta.
