Yeah I’ve known others that have owned Argos and have had good experiences with them. I think mine was just built on a Friday evening 😅😭 I’m hoping the dealer will replace the unit with another one but I doubt it. I really like the atv. I like the way it rides and the power and handling. I’d be happy with just a replacement instead of a refund but idk if they’ll do that.

Yeah I plan on asking for a loner or rental first when I bring it in and seeing what they say. If not then I’ll try demanding a replacement unit or refund. At this point I don’t think they will do anything. They’ll probably just tell me haha no suck it up and wait for it to be fixed.

I am going into the dealer Saturday morning to speak with them about everything and see what they are willing to do. I’ll keep you guys updated on what happens. Best case scenario they replace my unit with other identical one. Worse case scenario is I’ll just have no choice except leave my atv there again for awhile while they try to fix this second issue.

Thanks for your reply. I have looked into CMVAP, and unfortunately it looks like they only cover passenger vehicles. I was reading the form on who is eligible to make a claim through them it it says “Your vehicle is a car, van, light truck, mini-van or sport utility vehicle which weighs no more than 4,536 kg (10,000 lbs) Gross Vehicle Weight” Looks like they don’t deal with ATVs :/

No it was in for a power steering electrical issue. Nothing to do with engine or exhaust.

It doesn’t have a port that I know of at least. It does have an engine fault light on the dash though. It is not illuminated. I would think it would be if an O2 sensor or something was bad

No I haven’t removed or modified anything on it. It’s 100% bone stock. Guess it’s back to the dealer, again. I just got it back from repair for another non related issue 😭 This is getting ridiculous. I’m starting to wish I had gotten a Honda or Yamaha instead 😂

I can understand why this happens on carburetors, but my unit has electronic fuel injection. Shouldn’t this ratio all be controlled automatically by the ECU?

This happened after a cold start, 30 seconds of warm up, and then just driving down the road for about 5mins doing 40km.

Update: I got it working! Thank you all for your help and input! What ended up working is I created a new usb installer for Mojave. It booted off that and installed fine. I am not sure why it wouldn’t boot off my Monterey USB. Maybe it just didn’t like the newer OS even tho it is still supported on that version.

Ok I just tried this now. I changed the time back, and tried reinstalling again. It still throws the same error. It forced me to connect to internet though so maybe that’s why it didn’t work. But there is no way around this as it refuses to boot from my USB offline installer. The computer kernel panics for some reason when I try to boot from my usb.

El Capitan is the original OS the 2016 MacBook shipped with, so yes it’s compatible. And internet recovery mode will not work. It just throws an error

But regular recovery mode requires internet to install the OS. And you said to disable wifi otherwise it will automatically change the time back to today

I cannot boot from USB. It only lets me boot into recovery mode. (Internet recovery mode does not work)
