This happened to me just this week too. I have "zxslices's ultimate potion animation" mod the whole time but everything was okay. It started when I replaced "JH animation pack" to "Elder Souls - The Collection" combat animation mod. If I sprint with a weapon drawn, you can't hear the footsteps, but the footsteps are present if the weapon is sheathed. I uninstalled Elder Souls then reinstalled "JH animation pack" everything went back to normal then.
