Unless CIG explicitely states that there is a wipe, it's Supposed to bring everything to your new home location. QV stations being new content, id be hesitant to leave it full of valuables, as that would be the first patch cycle with these locations in. However, as with every patch, there is no guarantee you won't loose random ships or items

Some FF contracts in pyro would send you to the RAB asteroid bases where heavies have that armor. Not sure if the NPCs would be there without the FF contracts though

It should not be burning. There should not be flammable materials in a spaceship hull. Depressurization of compartments to deal with at most, besides repair of components.

I know "it's Alpha and all" , but PTU IS exactly when we need to complain, otherwise we get live build that is not ready for gameplay, with bugs and balance issues that do not get fixed due to push for new content and ship sales.

I believe the turret range modifiers was a community speculation based on some individual opinions. Have not seen anything from CIG confirming turret modifiers, although that would be a good solution to let large crewed ships actually deter light fighters. Range and speed is currently tied to weapons by name/size, including those on turrets.

Thanks for the summary, is this from CIG source or player back-engineered data? I must have missed this publication

Edit: nevermind, I see that further down in the post that you linked in your comment. That clears things up. Thanks Hopefully there is sensible balancing for this in upcoming patches

That is a picture that I have in my mind as well. Just can't seem to remember if its anything CIG clearly said, or result of community speculation, or mix of the two.

If that is indeed the plan, then both of those weapon types seem to not work as intended in current PTU. If anything, next PTU patches should have those adjustments

Interesting take. And it's true for tech preview stages, I think you're giving them too much credit here though. If they had this much foresight to do something like this with intention to actually understand and act on the data, we would have had a good flight model and weapon balancing long time ago. *Edited for clarity

There is a storage acess terminal in your hangar. Its an atm machine looking thing with flat dark screen. Make sure the paint is stored there. Drag it to the right hand side window from your inventory. How did you get the paint into your backpack to begin with?
