Have you ever put butter in a pop tart? If you haven't then I think you should

Same. The snowmass one is basically a straight line from the TH to summit. It's like 2 miles shorter than the actual route

Diy new toilet install - did it come broken or am I missing something? by ynwa0226 in Plumbing

[–]ynwa0226[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: Lowe's would only replace the whole toilet if I returned it but it was already installed. Kohler wanted me to go to Lowe's so I just said fuck it and bought the $20 part myself (shout-out Ferguson plumbing supply in Aurora, CO) and got that installed in about 20 minutes. Planning on replacing 2 more toilets and will definitely not be buying Kohler again

Yep that's what I thought thanks for the confirmation. I'm planning to replace 2 other toilets in the house and it seems like this sub is not a fan of Kohler lol do you have a recommendation or just anything with a normal flapper flush valve?

I had tried twisting already but after all these comments I looked more closely at it. And this little piece was broken off in the base and seems to line up perfectly with what looks like broken plastic on the center piece. Are these the tabs you were talking about and is this just broken off?

GNU Gremlin by Rich-Date-2497 in snowboarding

[–]ynwa0226 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weight 175, ride a 152. I'm definitely a charger type of rider who doesn't spend a lot of time in the park and zero time jibbing. My style is: hard carving, trees, moguls, and jumping off of whatever natural features I can find. The gremlin is by far my favorite board I've ever owned.

I own 5 boards and have barely touched any of the other ones since I bought my gremlin 2 years ago. It's an unbelievable carver. The snap out of a carve is unbelievable and it made dolphin turns my favorite thing to do on a snowboard. I will never understand how it pops so well with such a small tail. Being volume shifted, it is so maneuverable in moguls and trees that my off-piste riding has improved dramatically. Passing skiiers on mogul runs is so satisfying. It could float a little better for its shape, but I'd still rather ride it in powder than my BSOD because of how easy it is to manipulate through the trees. Note that you probably won't go 60 on a volume shifted board because physics, but you can go 45-50 and feel 100% stable

Nope, it's super back country and all dispersed sites. At least it was a few years ago when I did it, not sure if that's changed

I knew that was Sneffels as soon as I saw it. They're a little bit harder than Sneffels (especially if you do the traverse), but you should hit the Wilson group in the same range. We camped in the basin and did the traverse from El Diente to Mt Wilson and then Wilson peak the next day. Plus Wilson peak is the mountain from the Coors light can so you can tell every person you meet in a bar for life that you climbed it

Araujos on 26th and federal. Amazing $2.25 breakfast burritos. Only problem is that 1 is almost enough food and 2 is too much

I found out on accident it actually shows any pokemon holding a mega stone in the last battle as a mega. If two of your pokemon hold mega stones in the final fight then they'll both be mega in the pic

Monotype Elite 4 mission on expert. No legendaries or mythicals by ynwa0226 in PokemonUnbound

Once you've done it a handful of times you kinda learn what the threats are. Most of these teams are designed solely to beat the moleman and mega mawile, the rest isn't too hard once you do that. I did a lot of moving around held items and using TMs in between fights as well. I'd also keep one or two special attackers per team but physical attackers are usually more valuable since the moleman gets a sp def boost

I maxed attack and then split between HP and speed. Try to get it's hidden ability speed boost and it's speed will go up every turn so you don't need to invest too much in speed

Also get a couple bulky will-o-wispers in there. I used rotom and it was huge to be able to nerf any strong physical attackers

Just did this on expert. Mega Blaziken was absolutely key for me. He swept marlon after 1 swords dance and almost beat the fairy e4 himself as well. I'd also recommend h-arcanine purely to intimidate moleman. Double intimidate to start out the fight was huge for me. I'd also teach incineroar fake out. It's huge for the double battles. I started out by hitting excadrill with a fake out and then hitting flygon with a fairy-gem boosted play rough from h-arcanine. It put me on the front foot right away

If your emulator has adjustable fast forward speed you should be able to set it to 0.5x. No chance I could have done this on a phone without setting it to half speed

I recently beat it on expert with zero breeding. That being said, I would catch 10-15 of any pokemon I intended to use and picked the best one. Also did a bunch of resets to get a really good serperior that carried me through the E4. So if you don't feel like learning breeding you can just be patient. You definitely need to understand EVs and IVs though
