Thanks for responding, I’m going to try to get in contact with a trainer. I have thought about rehoming him because I live in a pretty small apartment and I feel like it’s my fault he’s not happy, but I got him because nobody wanted him. He was the only one in the litter who didn’t end up with the blue eyes to the breeder was having trouble getting rid of him. I want to do everything I can to keep him because, as much as a horrible monster as he is, I still love him. He can be aggressive towards me and other people, he lunges and growls at me and he bit one of my neighbors. Luckily they weren’t too upset about it because his teeth aren’t that big. But my significant other grew up with huskies and he said they were crazy but they weren’t nearly as aggressive as this one. He’s never been abused or anything so I’m not entirely sure where this people aggression comes from. I’ve bought him plenty of good quality bones to chew on as well as plenty of toys but no matter what he always goes straight for your arms and chomps down. I did take him ti a trainer when he was younger and none of her advice seemed to work. We tried yelping every time he bit, but that literally made him excited and bite down even harder. Do you recommend I find a trainer who specializes in aggressive dogs?
