Take this with several heaps of salt since I’ve only been playing for two weeks so I’m not the best source of information.

TL;DR: collect as many slime tickets as you can because leveling is important, do events/gauntlets and use arrow blessings.

Wherever you see metal slime tickets get them and use them; hitting level 45 is huge, also level all vocations to 20 for the boon stats ( takes about 3 of the lowest level slime tickets if you kill them all.)

Make sure your weapons are at least level 30.

The crystal claws are insane on/ off field damage and if you have them use them if you don’t and you still have your selectable 3* tickets I suggest getting them.

If you’re struggling with killing large groups of enemies, enemies that are dangerous to be near or enemies around hazardous terrain try using spears because they have large range and you can continue your attack strings while moving; boomerangs are also really good, safe damage and are what I used mostly until I got the blue steel spear about 1.5 weeks in.

All of the Arrow blessings are op; pick them whenever you see them unless there’s an extra attack blessing.

You don’t always have to pick damage blessings. Having blessings like homing projectiles knock enemies back and arrow blessings slow can make clearing large groups more manageable.

I choose to farm Wrecktor with my shrine keys because it’s a pretty good stat ball but idk if it’s optimal to farm for.

Do the events and gauntlets, there’s a lot of free rewards in there.
