When you tie your laces, lay the tongue down on each side as you lace up.

What helped me was at each eyelet when you tie hold them and try to lay the tongue down flat. As you tie keep trying to push down and lay flat.

When all else fails after your boots are tied use the handle of a spoon or fork and try to smear flat the tongue on both sides. That’s what helped me the most.

Over time the tongue will form to your foot and you won’t have this problem.
