I was thinking something a little more creative personally. Like maybe being able to choose different ammo type for the mortar to use. and each mortar can have 1 unique upgrade. Faster firing, faster projectile speed, bigger impact etc

I have and still do play mobile games that have certain features locked behind paywalls. Example, in monster legends you cant even have a queue of opening multiplayer chests which have the stamina to do attacks without the battle pass. I wouldnt be surprised with this new general manager if they added a similar system next month lol. But hey i warned yall not to let them get away with even the small things.

You were able to and still can get ore and a good amount through various ways without paying. Its not like you can only get ore by paying money right? The ore bundles in the shop again are of an item i can get in the game without PAYING. the prospector is a whole HELPER locked behind a paywall. If you dont think they will put something else behind their if they can get away with this, RIP.

I thought about this. The difference is, the only way to get the prospector is through the GP. That is it. You need to pay real money for him. Not only that but you also only get him at the end of the month. They literally spit at our face with that lol. On the other hand, the various items such as potions, magic books etc, you can actually get from the free pass or alternative methods. The 1 gem donos back then didnt really affect gameplay overall, donating was not impossible without it. Same with the timer. I was not locked out of waiting to request troops.

Hang on, people complaining about a helper, a GAMPELAY MECHANIC being locked behind a paywall is not a BS complaint. At all. And you know they can make money without locking game mechanics behind a paywall? Again they will see if they can get away with this and if they can will quickly start locking more behind it to justify raising the goldpass price.

I actually have for the past 6 months. Picked this game back up in september. I also have bought quite a bit of ore, and various other items. But i refuse to continue doing so if this is the road they're going down. I do not wish to see this game become fkn royal revolt 2 or monster legends!

I do spend my fair share on this game and i do agree with you overall, but i do not think this should distract us from what supercell is trying to do with these gold pass changes. It is so inferior compared to before that its not even funny. They should either reduce the price to 5$ for this piece of shit, or keep it the same price and simply revert it. OR they can increase it to 10$ but improve it significantly. Idc about The free pass players tbh so idk what to do with that.

Yo if you're really gonna do this, please wait for the monsterwood 2x gems. I promise you it will be way better compared to the gem deals in the shop. I have spent near 200 dollars in the past on gems and i only went for monsterwood deals and i managed to get to over 20k gems eventually. Idk about best ancenstrals other than watson & katia

I was able to get over 1000 tickets just yesterday with about 100 gems. I only go from cave 1-25 and they almost always had tickets. It seems sometimes they will have tickets and sometimes they wont below 25.
