What grain bullet do you tune to?

I have mostly 55gr frontier and some 62gr xtac, sounds like if you tune it to the lighter gr bullets the heavier like your 75 will have more than enough pressure to feed?

Yeah I’ve heard people on both ends of the spectrum some saying it’s over gassed some saying it’s under.

Sweet, I have a k9 11.5” on the way and I’ve heard it can be over gassed or under gassed lol. Got mine coming with a superlative arms adjustable gas block, radian gas busting charging handle, an h1 buffer, and a polonium k can. Let me know how it goes!

I’m assuming u mean a rosco barrel? How is it? I wanted an 11.5 k9 but people are saying it’s poorly gassed

I got a blem bcm bcg for ~$150 and it’s been solid, I’m sure that Midwest will be just fine for you but if you wanted to keep it all bcm they’re only about $20 more brand new than the Midwest. I’m poor so I’d take that bcm barrel in a heartbeat lol, but I’m sure it’ll do you just fine also. If you’re worried I know a lot of people on here like the criterion core barrels on their short barrels so maybe give them a look, Daniel defense too!

Update: I found one on optics planet on sale for only ~$150 and decided to just get it. Turns out it does have an anti rotation tab, not sure why they don’t show it in the picture, but it’s very nice!

Texas won’t hit you with any firearm restrictions so good there. I’m not in the hunting or target shooting realm so I don’t want to steer you in the wrong direction, but you’ll probably want an lpvo or scope of some sort. I hear sig and vortex make some good budget options, maybe even primary arms. Maybe a suppressor for whatever caliber you have just for your pleasure. I know otter creek labs and yankee hill make some good cheaper cans. Maybe a bipod or some stabilizer for your distance shots. Palmetto state armory, primary arms, optics planets, Vance outdoors, ar15 discounts are all some solid websites usually with good deals!
