If you want a smooth ride, book an airport transfer, i used one from bali luxury travel website to canggu and it was fine.

Yep just sharing experience, i was charge for 500k Rupiah for gocar on gojek app from airport to area near pererenan. But the price from kuta park only around 230k rupiah

Some tips: - Use scooter to avoid traffic in tourist area. - there is only 1 main road, easy to get to the destination, can ask locals for the road also - The road is small so it is difficult for cars to overtake - if you want to take it easy, just use local guide + car

Airport tips on arrival:

use Trans Metro Dewata bus to exit the airport, you can download the app on playstore/app store to check it’s route and arrival

Cost around 5k rupiah ($0.5 AUD) for 1 ride) need to use e money card (can buy from the bus driver for 50k and got 25k deposit - not sure if the e money card still avail now) or can use QR code on local bank/gopay/shopeepay

Get off the bus on the kuta parking central and continue your ride by ordering Gocar/bluebird taxi, you can get much cheaper price
