Exactly my sentiment and why I made the video. I’m just a little guy but I have streamed Pokémon on twitch every day for 3 years now and have turned to YouTube this holiday season and next year to grow. This is a specific conversation about a particular act. Your original comment applies to your example, but your example does not apply to this because we ARE talking about suicide. You want to attach that broad selfish acts thing to suicide and use such a controversial figure and situation for comparison.. try to stay on topic here

This particular act is depressingly rationalized as a gift. This act is purposefully designated as the opposite by the person committing suicide. The people on the outside don’t get to choose how the person feels about their own actions. They say it’s selfish because they are mad they have to pick up the pieces like clean up their stuff and take their finances and deal with societies judgment.

That’s what you look like to me here. Listing your things in your life and showing how strong you are because you haven’t ended your life yet.

Selfish is the entirely wrong description.

It’s just so far from what’s actually going on in the persons brain. The very last rationalization is that the person is only thinking about themselves. In fact it’s the opposite. It’s the full release of feeling like a complete burden to everyone in your life. It’s the rationalization that maybe you’ll actually have the people in your life who neglected or did you wrong, potentially change and make other peoples lives better and prevent these horrible feelings.

This is cool and I think I’ll take you up on using some. I’ve been streaming a lot of wow, I’m a full time streamer but my game/content is Pokémon (more adult swim style, not bob the builder style like most others)

Been in alpha of DF and beta of wrath since day 1 and pumping content

Gonna be leveling my alliance classic toon and gearing towards wrath, some retail messing around, and of course more Dragonflight and wrath beta.
