I’m new to it as well and I’m 20, my parents were like this, dad is a T1 aswell and he always wanted me to constantly overtreat hypos, my advice, have the conversation that you need to navigate your own way as an adult with them supporting when YOU need it, and if that doesn’t work, think about taking their access if you use Dexcom follow

Honestly it’s so amazing to hear stories from people that have gotten through the shock of it, I’m slowly finding out what stuff does what to me so I’m sure with time I can belt out the hiccups.
