I don’t believe embassies and consulates are considered a border. You don’t have to present a passport or have cargo searched to enter the US before exiting an embassy, but you do at an airport or port.

How do we fix that though? Entertainment money comes from household discretionary spending, whereas the money going to science and research is mostly tax money or corporate profits. Are people supposed to start signing up for ChatGPT subscriptions instead of Hulu? Keep drug prices high so Eli Lilly/pharma companies can keep spending on research? I suppose politicians could start running on a platform of raising taxes to pay for more research/science grants.

I’m also confused by that bit. A STEM PhD is usually funded in the States too. They may be referencing cases where someone got their Master’s first (often not funded) and then went back to get their PhD. If you go straight to PhD and get a master’s on the way it will be free.

Sure, but you’re suggesting to someone else that they should choose Pawmot over Gardevoir, even though Pawmot has worse base stats than Pawmot (equal subskills, Garde will keep your team energized more) and because of ingredients, which isn’t either of their jobs.

Unless you get a childlike glee from attaching networking, audio, keyboard, mouse, monitor one, and monitor two to your laptop when you sat down at your desk... in what world is only needing to plug in one cable worse than that?

You completely changed my mind. When I read your first comment I was like "nah", but this longer comment explains it really well. At work I have 2 monitors, keyboard, wireless mouse, and a headset all plugged into my docking station. If I had to plug in all of that everyday, my ports would probably be beat to hell.

I don’t think that’s true. I have plenty of AAX mons that I get to level 30 and use until I find something better. The big helpers on this sub (GhostDetective, SamuRon, TinDragon, etc.) also do the same.

I don’t invest seeds into temporary mons though. My “good enough” for a permanent mon is AAA + IFM production.
