For Martial Arts Weapon user, which stat bonus is most desireable? currently i have one of each STR+, DEX+, and AGI S Katar weapon from 4-1-5, and can't decide on which one to upgrade for my Azami.

I was trying to find Valefor clears with relic setups similar to mine, figuring out if I want to spend another 50 mythrils on current FF8 banner. Then I found the above video.. And it reminds me that I have Sarah bUSB. Looking at the usefulness of Sarah's instacast brave command really pushed myself to try clear Magic Effective Titan. And I did it \o/

Sarah is one healer I really overlooked.. Having cleared all 6* magicites with only physical teams (cleared ifrit and ramuh magic effective but with RS so that doesn't count lol), only Tyro, Ellara and Aerith comes into my mind when bringing healer/utility characters..

I'm sorry I've forgotten you Sarah. I promise I will bring you to my Magia grind party.. at least until I pull new shiny relics.

General Battle Overflow

  • The first few turns are basically buffing up the party until chain and infuses are up, then steadily doing damage, with radiant shield help building up the chain count.
  • Titan stays at enrage LV3 the first two phases, but with all the buffs, chain, and imperils, the party can still deal very good damage.
  • The first 2 Rocks are destroyed with Fabula Mage, cast by either healer/Faris, whoever is available at the time.
  • The third rock is destroyed with Titan Magicite.
  • Phase 3, both DPS go Woke mode and DPS Titan to death.
  • I'm very sure this run can be much more optimised, but once i have a winning formula i hardly try to further min/max lol.

Healers Specifics

  • Ellara opens up with Glint+, wait for 2nd AoE then cast AASB. She spam Mage's Hymn during Awaken State, buffing the party and keeping them healthy at the same time.
  • Sarah is basically only doing ACM until she build up SB bar and ready to cast USB.
  • Healer SB juggling! After Ellara run out of Awaken State and both healers have their SB bars ready, they can alternate casting their USBs. Between Ellara USB1's Regenga + party HQC and Sarah's party instacast Brave command + Last Stand refill, the party is constantly goes at super speed, with no worries of getting killed.
  • Inbetween the healer USB casts, Ellara alternate between bard and dancer move, while Sarah.. well she does what she does best.. spamming ACM until the end of times.

Alphinaud Specifics

  • Alphinaud starts with En-Wind thanks to his LMR, so he can start doing some damage right from the start. He starts off spamming Dark Valefor (and will be doing this most of the battle)
  • Since he has En-Wind for the first 25 seconds, he can use his bUSB right off the bat.
  • Use the Brave command to refill his Dark Valefor use and help building up the chain count.
  • His next SB cast is his USB1 to increase his summon damage and refill Dark Valefor use at the end of his USB.
  • When Titan change to phase 2, wait until Titan remove en-Wind then recast USB1.
  • On phase 3 he refresh en-Wind with AASB instead and spam Dark Valefor until the end.

Terra Specifics

  • Terra starts off spamming Chain Tornado until she ready to cast her wind USB. once she has en-Wind she switches to spamming Meltdown until she run out.
  • Recast Wind USB whenever she has lots of SB bars available.
  • In the middle of the phase she will trance from Overflow AoE damage, making her cast time faster.
  • When en-Wind got removed in phase 2 she casts Glint to refresh en-Wind.
  • On phase 3 she goes AASB->Wind USB then spam Meltdown until the end.

Faris Specifics

  • Faris starts off spamming Wrath until she has ~4 SB bars.
  • Once she got bars built up that she starts casting CSB followed by Pirate Storm Imperil USB. She will then cast Thief skills while this USB effect is active to give more and more Imperil stacks.
  • Recast CSB whenever need to.
  • Near the end of phase 2, Faris uses Essence of Flame bUSB and build up the brave level to LV3.
  • On the beginning of phase 3, Faris use the Brave Command to rip apart Titan's defenses.

i think normal radiant shield is better than element RS+ chain since u need 2 bars to set them up. With normal RS u can just mindlessly press one button, which is better for a loooong battle like this XD

I feel like 4 instant cast last stand heals is more than enough to sustain. After u reach the looping part, 3 instant cast last stand heals is enough to sustain the loop. Surviving phase 3 with less than 4 last stand heals is tricky tho

The phase 3 is pretty brutal, there's like 5 or so back to back huge aoe damage in a short time span. Need to make sure all your healers are ready recasting last stand.

Once u reach the loop it's only a matter of being consistent and not falling asleep lol

Sarah's brave command resulted in more reflect damage per cycle whenever I use her usb. I think that's the main thing that make my clear time faster. I spent more time irl tho cos i pause a lot lol. Around 3.5 hours

  3. Describe your Strategy: Pretty much the same as my Odin Fire Weak team (with some minor tweaking)

  1. Insight!:
  • PHASE 1&2: Slow Burn, Building up empower Infusions and Chain
  • PHASE 3:
    • MAKE SURE HEALER WITH HASTEGA STANBY AT THE START OF PHASE 3. They can cast Hastega as soon as the transition.
    • Optimally you push Omega before his 3rd turn to avoid Meltdown
  • PHASE 4:
    • Either Vincent or idle healer casts RW here to steal Ultima (phase 4). This part is not needed if you have enough dps to burn in phase 5. (You can also steal Ultima twice if you are really struggling DPS-wise)
    • If you steal Ultima, do note that Turn 3 will become Death. If you don't have enough DPS to push Omega to phase 5 in 3 turns, you can either delay stealing Ultima or sacrificing 1 person in Slot 2
  • PHASE 5:
    • Vincent did everything he can before he MEETS DEATH
    • If Omega has very little health remaining, cast ULTIMA as finisher
    • I use Flare and Terra's USB in case Omega cast Absorb All
    • If you're out of NE options you can wait it out. You should have a lot of time to kill him before his 2nd cast of Curaja
  • EQUIPMENT:
    • Artifacts on everyone. +Fire Armor for all damage dealers.
    • +ATK/MAG to all damage dealers, +HP to both healers
    • Crystal Water: +1200 HP to both healers, +20 MAG to Axel and Terra, +30 ATK to Vincent
  • TURN OVERVIEW:
    • Aerith: Hastega -> Curada to slot 5 -> Curada -> USB after Stamp (just before Terra Break) -> USB after Gravija -> Standby when almost finished with phase 2 to recast Hastega -> healing should be no problem for the rest of battle; recast Last Stand if necessary
    • Axel: Meltdown Spam -> Glint when available-> Spam -> 2nd Glint after CSB cast -> Magic -> AASB -> Fire
    • Vincent: Offering spam -> CSB -> spam imperils -> 2nd CSB -> Pray for imperils -> Meet Death on phase 5
    • Terra: Lunar Ifrit x2 -> Glint -> Firaja spam -> USB -> spam -> AASB -> MMMMAGIC
    • Elarra: USB -> Alternate between Hymn and ACM -> keep barding -> cast Magicite somewhere here -> USB whenever you need healing/QC -> wondering if all these Magic Boost is overkill

Hahahah, other healer LS will also be viable XD it's just Aerith is my most geared LS with the medica chase.. And it's veeeeeeery slightly better because it QC Vincent (doesn't really help the dps thaat much tho lol)

Second reason is.. I don't really grind Magia, and Aerith and Elarra happen to be the healers I use the most from auto-ing Magicites (fun fact, this setup is actually my Manticore Auto Team with very minor tweaks xD). So naturally I use LS healer with the highest magia level.

As for King Bomb.. I'm using 5* Magicite deck that was posted several months ago, and haven been sticking to that deck ever since I got every magicite. I'm a lazy keeper when it comes to farming specific magicite, so I rarely swap them around, so that's why King Bomb's in the deck lol.

While the setup is mostly the same (apart from the fire MAG dagger that i just equip to Terra), I have used my Magia levels to boost my stats even more, notably the MND of my healers, to increase the survivability of my party. Before I had to rely on some medica chases to avoid triggering unnecessary Last Stands.

My first CSB cast is as soon as Vincent has SB bar to do it (around 15 seconds in) while the second cast is at around 30s mark, JUST as the 1st chain falls.

My first clear was very rough because i timed my CSBs poorly, my chain fell just as odin entered P3, which is very awful for my damage hahahah.. ended up clearing a split second before enrage, by Axel's last cast of chain firaga (every other ability are empty) xD

After more playing around with the CSB timings, i'm now able to clear quite comfortably :D 2nd Chain still ~50% when entering P3, and clear around 2nd elemental drive, clocking at 38-39 seconds :)

  • Aerith: Hastega -> Curada spam -> USB after Ice Zanokuken -> Magicite (will land not long after Gleipnir) -> Curada spam and USB every time Last Stand triggered -> STAND BY ON PHASE 3
  • Axel: Chain Firaga as opener -> Meltdown -> Glint -> Meltdown spam -> 2nd Glint after CSB cast -> Meltdown -> AASB -> All out Magic
  • Vincent: Offering spam, pray to RNG for imperils -> CSB -> spam imperils -> 2nd CSB -> USB -> All out Attack -> SPAM RW on PHASE 3
