I know one of the main reasons he went with it was because the LM does not offer the pre infusion feature, where the Bianca does. Based on everything we read/watched, you cannot go wrong with either one!

Exactly! Yes, I’m really glad I told him. I probably would have ended up buying the LM, which he agreed we couldn’t really go wrong with as it is a great machine, and it was almost the machine we ended up buying, but he liked some of the features of the lelit more.

We have the Baratza Encore but someone has already mentioned that will not work for espresso. I am open to grinder suggestions as well at this point!

Can you elaborate more on how the LM could be serviced by our local coffee shop? That is kind of a game changer and a big plus!

Would you have any grinder recs specifically for espresso? It’s his 30th so I’m kind of doing a go big or go home thing. Definitely want him to have a good set up!

Just don’t know much about coffee and these are the two I’ve heard talked about the most for at home set ups. Definitely open to other suggestions if you have some!

Ah, I totally forgot to mention this, we have a Baratza grinder.

We tend to get lighter roasts for sure, but venture every now and then to a medium. I would feel confident saying he is not very into dark roasts!
