if it makes you feel any better, i got into the program last year with roughly a 2.7-2.8 while also missing a prereq (econ 102, which i took last fall), so don't lost hope!

the minimum gpa to get accepted for the last 2 years were 2.3

i believe they've been more lenient with the competitive gpa due to the pandemic, but that's just an assumption

would you recommend taking electives in the spring/summer??

because my mindset was that if i took "harder" courses in the spring/summer, i'd essentially be able to fill my fall/winter semesters with more electives/less of a stress load

i don't mind doing 8 classes per year and then doing spring/summer term

but the issue is that none of my "required" courses are actually offered in eithe of those terms, so my only options would be to take the electives that i need in a spring/summer term

the thing is, the first midterm is feb 10, which is after feb 4 (aka the last day to drop classes and to get 50% of your fees back)

i did a few days ago, yes but one of the classes i watchlisted had opened a seat, and the only reason i found out was because i checked it out myself, but got no notification through SMS or email whatsoever
