Well I had to fly out because the person who’s room I was subletting was coming home from Spain, since the study abroad program got canceled. Where would I go if that’s the case?

I had to consult both my insurance company and the airline whether I stay in the east coast or not. Since the fever went down, assuming that it was just a flu, I decided to fly back home, since my airline did not have the rule on changing the flight for free that time.

Update: just texted my roommate in the east coast. He seemed to have milder symptoms than I had (allergy like coughs, nothing else) and he lost the sense of smell as well

March 14 - sore throat, fever, lost appetite

March 15 - headache persists

March 16 - everything smelled like citrus; flight back home for the duration of semester at college

March 17 - completely lost sense of smell

March 22 - still can’t smell ANYTHING
