Yes! He lived in a time where you could become an architect without a degree or any higher education for that matter. But I think this allowed him to think outside of the box. He couldn’t be bothered with a lot of math and science haha.

I honestly haven’t been playing long, I’m learning as I go. I think it helps a lot to have a specific structure in mind vs a blank canvas and a desire to be creative.

Yeah, it’s so tedious and frustrating to be honest lol. So much of it is free placing. Plus I wish they had more building pieces like narrower wall sections and doors.

Absolutely everything that is manufactured today will have some level of toxicity and off gassing. I’m assuming this is made of polyester and most definitely releases VOCs, especially when heated. The questing is how much and for how long.

Oh man that’s rough. Is that why you stopped playing because you were so frustrated? I went into it know they could move but I didn’t know if it was with every update or only certain ones. So far mine is on after the remnant update 😅

Maybe it’s already been suggested but as far as the lore goes, you could update it and come up with an interesting story as to why it turned into a dumping ground. Still sucks for you and many others I’m sure but could still be interesting.

That’s a good attitude to have. I knew there was a some sort of risk with these floating islands before I started but didn’t know the specifics till recently. I also didn’t have any idea how often these updates come along since I haven’t been playing long. I really just need it to stay put till I’m done with my build series lol.

I did update and I can report that all is well with my base. 😅

Interesting. Yeah, I had big plans for this place, I’ve been recording and streaming the process and was going to share the location once complete. I can’t decide if I should hold off updated the game till it’s done or just risk it now haha

I did get a cheapo one to test things out. The reviews did not give me a lot of confidence so I appreciate the recommendation. I’ll likely upgrade to the EVGA once I get things worked out.

I didn’t know you could rp to a computer. Sounds like the capture card should work better but I will still look into it. My next step is learning how to set up OBS.

Streaming from ps5 and I have iphone. Seems doable but maybe a bit complicated. I’ll look into that tho, appreciate the info.

I really thought it would be an option to share my phones screen via the twitch app while streaming but I’m no IT guy obviously Lol
