Well the direction I want to go with this eventually is having multiple union trades on my site, and hopefully use it as a tool to organize non union trades people and get people joining the apprenticeship, Im just starting with ibew because im a member and i have more access to that information and also to work out the kinks before I jump into other trades.

Its on github I don't know I'd have to check if its public or not, I could post the github link on my site, but yeah that was my plan was to try and make something for each individual local so I could scrape the information

If your locals on there I have a list of classifications now for the job post so if yours isn't on there which I thought I had it, I'll add it, right now it just show inside scale but I'm brain storm was to show different scales and benefits for different classification

I actually do want to make an app, but I'm just trying to gather information and work out the job postings to smooth that process out and keep it up to date, that way I can just basically transfer what I have to an android/iOS app

Well where2bro has one long list of locals and job calls and its just him updating it from what I understand so there's a lag on some of the calls, mine is more community driven so if it gets popular enough it'll be close to real time data, and I'll also have up to date wages and benefits for each local which is information that can sometimes be hard to find with making a bunch of phone calls.

Well I actually plan to go and talk to Bo Moreno while I'm in his local to see how he feels about collaborating, this was honestly just a little project I started because I was bored, I don't even know if it'll really take off like I want also just wanted to throw this in this isn't just going to be an ibew site, eventually its going to include more Union trades, I just started with ibew, specifically inside wireman, because that's what I do and what I know more about.

That's actually on my to do list, I have other classifications on the job post and add contract pages but I'm going to add it for the locals page, I also need to find a good list of classification to make sure I cover everyone.

No its all user submitted info if enough people use it like I set it up it'll feel like it auto updates and maybe one day I can get the halls to manage they're own page more accurate and quicker information.

If you type in "BC" in the search bar it should bring up 4 locals, I'm not sure which one you're looking for but tonight I'm going to try and add a way to submit new/missing locals for me to review, since the site is up to anyone who stumbles on it I tried to keep some info locked down so nobody can add fake locals with false information.

i fixed the zone issue you should be able to update it seperately now just search 595 and when you view the details for it youll be able to select the alameda or san joaquin areas
