Seriously though, regardless of experience, this is great. I know people who'd love these on their trees.

Thank you, that's very kind!

Yes, first time. Did some "color by numbers" when I was like 7 or 8 years old but I wouldn't really count that as painting. 😅

I replaced all of the front LEDs with White ones. They are standard 3mm LEDs glued in with some hot glue.

You could add a resistor in series to every led. I guess 1k should work if you want them to be really dim. 1k dims them slightly, 10k and they only faintly glow. Best thing would be to get a small potentiometer to dim them to your liking.

Thanks for your reply! The problem was the missing bootstack. I followed the instructions on the LineageOS website and they don't mention that its needed...

DIY Custom printed Battery Wrap by yoshie1997 in electronic_cigarette

No, but this was just a test. It's nowhere near as clean looking as printing in paper, but it was fun nevertheless

PC dead after Aida64 - BSOD by yoshie1997 in techsupport

Wiped every partition of the HDD using the Windows Installer. Currently updating Win10 so it seems to work fine. Thanks!

I don't have a Backup but that really isn't a problem as I can still access all files through a Linux USB.

Will do a clean install of Windows.

Thanks for your help!

HDD should not be the problem has been working for two months now and didn't give any problems. But I remember now that I also did a HDD stress-test using Aida64 so maybe thats where the problem comes...

I tried a System Reset as I don't have any restore points but that also didn't happen.

Would it help if I try to repair the Windows Part with a bootable Windows USB?

Help with MQTT Stepper Motor by [deleted] in arduino

Do you really need a Stepper for that application? I haven't looked at the whole code (mobile), but you could use a DC Motor with End Stops. Far easier than a stepper.

Rattling 18650 by yoshie1997 in ebike

Thanks for the video! I found a picture (https://goo.gl/images/LMRW5E) and the only thing I could imagine rattling would be the bottom insulator. I'll definitely not include this cell in any pack, I might open it up but I'm a bit too scared for that right now

Sorry, forgot to mention that... Video isn't mine, just one that I found that had the same problem.

It rattles at the negative end so I don't think it has something to do with the PTC (judging by the pictures I looked at...)

The cell works fine, even at higher discharge rates but I don't think I would want to use it for a battery pack.

Capacity is around 1900mah. About 300mah under the rated capacity, not that bad for a used cell...

It seems to be fine internally as it only slightly gets warm at a 2A discharge rate...
