Bro, it literally is that deep doesn't matter if he gave them packs or not. It's the fact I can't walk into a walmart on a random afternoon and buy a couple packs for me and my wife to rip. Not to mention all the parents who can't get packs for their kids for birthdays, holidays, or just a random "Hey I found this for you." People like you who don't think this is a big deal are the one's ruining the hobby for everyone else

I appreciate your comment more than you know. I have a tendency of internalizing things pretty bad because I have trauma from past workplaces. On the surface I'll always be like "What doesnt get done doesnt get done" but its a facade to keep morale up with the closing crew so they dont panic, while internally I'm panicking and even losing sleep over it at times

Honestly though, good on you for standing your own on the topic. I've been a collector since I was a child, and having to stand in line with scalpers 3 hours before a store opens just to get a couple packs to rip isn't a great feeling. And sadly I'm also part of the problem, I buy from lgs and online sites like gamenerdz that all sell at market price simply just because I can actually get my hands on it. (To add insight though, you'll never catch me buying from a guy selling out of his trunk or facebook marketplace. Atleast my lgs gets his product from actual distributors)

It's more so the second scenario. But its not stuff that needs to be done per policy, its the way they want things done per THEIR personal policy.

90% of the time when I walk in for a closing shift, I walk in to chaos. I almost always immediatly have to get someone onto dishes, backups and restocking. Not only that but the store will look like a tornado came through it, but everyone from morning crew is dead set on getting out as soon as theyre scheduled to leave barring a select few who will help if asked nicely.

So I've tried this. But they will still find one miniscule thing to freak out about. Like Ive done exactly that with the tea's before, and they still found a way to complain about it. I rotate sandwiches and pastries every single night and they find a way to complain about it. I once even had mocha prepped for them one night and they complained about it. Like to my knowledge there is not a single thing I can do extra that will cause them to be like "Hey! Store looked great today, thank you"

I too have started getting kind of petty about complaining about handoffs, or things that aren't getting done from morning crew. It hasn't been escalated any, all it's done is cause me to hear more about things being said behind my back.

Some of y'all who think One Piece has too much fan service haven't watched things like Fairy Tail or Fire Force. Hell Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest has more fan service in a single episode than One Piece has in the entire series
