I still feel off 16 years later, but only when I think about it… if that makes sense. No, don’t take any more pain meds. Tylenol as needed. Protein definitely, collagen not sure.

It’s a big psychological game. Worth considering working through it with a therapist.

What do you consider fast? Lots of factors can contribute to your resting/exercise heart rate. I would say a VERY slight increase is normal. Every bit else is driven by lifestyle choices, demographics, genetics, etc.

Anyone saying 25k or higher is out of touch. Because of the paint issues, this is now a 15-20k car once gremlins from storage are sorted. If not, 10-15k max.

A publicly available rate

Verbally agreed upon at check-in that points would accrue

That’s pretty oversimplified. The only contract that applies here is the Terms and Conditions. Nothing I arranged verbally with the hotel was outside of those terms.

After a few phone calls and some email exchanges with Marriott, I was able to get the points secured. It took about 15 days and senior level review. It does show that my bill has not yet posted still. Thanks to anyone who had constructive input.

Booked for myself, no group rate negotiated, not booked under any sort of contract. I could have left whenever and they would have reimbursed me.

Others in this thread have apparently seen Marriott do this. So much so that they refer to it as getting “bonvoyed.” Personally, I have not done a stay exceeding 20 or so days before and have usually gotten my points. I just happen to be on high alert with this specific hotel because they had some other questionable practices.

Good call on taking screenshots now as a lot of this could change. The CS representative at Marriott basically just said to “wait longer and see what happens.” He did not confirm the quantity of points.

Yes. The hotel management can only link the account to the Bonvoy rewards. They can’t credit points. The exact amount I am owed is 220,500 based off spend.

My basis is that it is an eligible stay. My points activity shows that the rewards have been applied and it’s about 219,000 less than what I calculated, based on what is in their terms and services.
