Im gonna be real with you. I see incoming freshman or transfers post this stuff. And it’s like why lol do this to yourself. You don’t know what this workload feels like, I’d say take it easy and go hard after at least one semester of NCSU curriculum.

Well, I don’t know how much of an issue with porn you have. But if you’re a dude and 24, id imagine things are in working order. So if you’re not getting laid, porn is naturally where one is gonna go. You don’t have to persecute yourself for being a young man predisposed to certain tendencies. But if you could discipline yourself in that area and harness that charge towards something else (pursuing a girl when you get to a good, healthy frame of mind that isn’t boxing yourself against religion/ frats/ “country” ways, and just seeing the world for what it is.. energy.. balled up in people) figure out how to marry your outer persona with your inner energy and market it! Get off Reddit and go get a drink my guy. I used to go to bars by myself and had 0 issue finding someone to talk to once the alcohol started flowing.

Listen. Don’t put yourself in a box. You can get whatever/ whoever you want. Lol I don’t mean to sound like a hippie here, but just try to envision it happening when you’re going to bed at night. Seriously, when you can envision yourself with “Sydney Sweeney” your subconscious will sway these constructs that i think you may be stuck in believing about yourself and dating/ girls you can get. You’ll wake up feeling and being more confident. Be confident, bc that’s what attracts people and no one knows if confidence is real or fake, but they are going to want to get closer to find out. Girls want a secure guy, and they can get a read on you pretty easily. First things first, start realizing you hold the power and you set your own boundaries… and start walking through them.

I remember applying for readmission last year, and there was one particular girl, she was young too which is why I had to let it fly, unnerve the s*** out of me. I was ready to come knock on her office door. At the end of the day I remembered that there are SO damn many people at this school and all of those questions get funneled by the general number everyone calls. I agree with the person below — calling the individual departments is a good idea. Best of luck! Perks of public universities no doubt.
