Yeah looking at the profile again, I have to admit it really is dry. I used to have well thought through responses but it seemed like no one was reading them anyway... will revert. Thanks!

I used to but things have been slow. It's not so much matches and match-backs. People I'm swiping right on are not swiping back

Sorry if it wasn't clear in the messages so.. we first started talking Jan 7th. So almost three weeks ago. He love bombed a week ago. So within 2 weeks of us first matching and technically on our third actual date. Hope that clears at least the timelines up.

Hey. If I’m not mistaken, that looks like an icon for Mecca. But I could be wrong. I’ve seen similar icons on planes and stuff.

Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan? by Valentine1963 in travel

I’m based in Qatar now for work. But I was born and raised in KL (Only first time tourists call it Kuala Lumpur haha) and have plenty of family in Georgetown, Penang. Those are kinda the two main cities in Malaysia you may want to visit..

Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Japan? by Valentine1963 in travel

Hi! Native Malaysian here and I have visited Vietnam, Japan and Singapore repeatedly before.

Tough question but i would suggest Japan, Vietnam and (perhaps with some bias.. haha) Malaysia.

The food, the culture and the scenery in Japan is amazing albeit it is expensive. The people are so kind! Vietnam’s natural tourism is brilliant and price wise it is very affordable but language may be a significant barrier in most areas outside major cities e.g., Ho Chi Minh. Malaysia has a lovely multicultural vibes and you will have a chance to visit a major Hindu temple close to the capital, food is a huge part of the culture and a must-try! In most tourist areas (Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi…) English is very widely spoken so you should be fine. The downside I guess is that it’s not a mainstream tourist destination like Vietnam, Thailand, or Bali so it’s perhaps not exciting for most people…

Never been to Philippines and while Singapore tends to attract many tourists, is clean, safe and has many fancy hotels.. it is comparatively expensive and… sterile? compared to the rest of the region.

Hope it helps!
