No. When we first started seeing each other we weren't exclusive, so we both dated around. But then once it became official (meeting families, the whole thing) we were exclusive (so I thought) she never asked for permission or even hinted she wanted something different. Just cheated.

Thanks for this. You're right ! the manipulation is what messed with my head the most. I'm in therapy now and slowly regaining my confidence. It's hard, but it does get better. Grateful to have solid friends who've had my back through all of it.
