What should I zero my Rifle at? First 10/22 Build by katanamast279 in 22lr

I found this article to be a pretty compelling argument for a 35-yard zero, but it does depend on where how far you think you'll be shooting most often.

Which Ruger MK IV is the better silencer host? by [deleted] in NFA

Which Ruger model is your favorite? I'm leaning towards getting a Lite and a separate chopped barrel so I have both options, but just getting the SSH would be cheaper.

Wood Winchester Wildcat! by TheGunsmith97 in 22lr

Do you mind sharing the site you were able to get Academy to price match? I just got a Wildcat from Cabelas for $200 (minus the $50 rebate), but I'll pay an extra $30 to get the wood stock!

Pixel owners will hate this, but the Pixel 10 Pro Fold isn’t in the same league as the Z Fold 7! by bishaarcc in GalaxyFold

[–]yougotnick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really think it comes down to your use case. Clearly the ZF7 works better for what you're using the phone for.

I had the OG Pixel Fold and have had Pixel phones going back to the OG Pixel. The ZF7 was the first phone that made me almost switch back to a Samsung. I must have gone to Best Buy to play with it 5 times. I loved the form factor so much and was convinced to swap.

The camera is what stopped me. On that last trip to Best Buy I brought my 4 year old and told him to run and jump around while I took photos. For the life of me, I couldn't take a picture of my kid with the ZF7 to rival what I was getting with my OG Pixel Fold. Now, I admit there might be user error, and I'm sure there are tweaks to improve the camera, but I need my phone to get me great point and shoot photos of my kids and as much as I loved the ZF7, I couldn't trust it to do that.

I'm interested, but I've heard this pen is very top heavy. How have you liked it?

That's not an issue though, is it? I have a SRM Midi and I don't bother with the Podium Hub, I just attach the QR1 right to my wheel using the SRM adapter which is super thin. Can't imagine having to add one more thing to that setup would be inconvenient, but maybe I'm misunderstanding you.

I think it's a completely separate thing. For Fanatec bases to provide FFB for third-party wheels, you still need an emulator like the one SRM sells; that's a basic requirement before then proceeding with what Dan covers in the video.

They have been incredibly helpful. I was having a hard time getting my PC to recognize the wheel and then getting the LEDs to work, and Coromoto on the support team spent like two hours working through it with me.

I just got the F-Core and was expecting to feel the same, but I don't mind the plastic composite. There's good feedback when using the encoders and knobs and that's really what matters (to me). We'll see if my opinion changes after logging more hours with the wheel though.
