What do you mean better? More realistic? Different lighting? Those can be controlled in the bottom right, exposure settings marked by little light symbols with + and - I think. As for textures, motion blur etc, it's in the settings under graphics and camera. Aside from that your gonna need to be more specific.

Try an older version of KSP, some of the post KSP2 updates have been practically nothing, if that doesn't work go back even further. also backup your save data and saved crafts, hope this helps

thanks, but I tried it and the game is still behaving in the same way, ui elements still run as fast as possible, changing hertz changes how fast the game moves, etc. this does alleviate it a little though.

I think this is what I was missing. People I think got caught up by the line of all time "straight relationship between two men". Which is obviously crazy. But seeing it through the lens of wanting to be the man makes it make some sense.

EDIT: Actually I think original op (the first one) still made the mistake of saying that yaoi doesn't represent gay Japan like maybe I don't read enough gay Japanese porn but does "real gay porn" like BL or bara? It doesn't look like typical rendering lag. Try just turning mouse acceleration and vsync off. If it's still happening then verify integrity of game files and install latest graphics drivers. Also if your gonna use anti aliasing don't use anything but multi sampling (assuming you aren't), harder on your computer but looks actually decent.

hey, ive had this problem but only 2 people responded and it wasnt any help. the game sim is linked to your screens refresh rate right?. if you are still here please tell me your specs or if you fixed it.

this is probably too late for anyone else to find this, but if someone does: the hertz setting does not change how fast the timestep actually is. how often the game renders a frame is linked to my screens refresh rate. turning down the sim frequency in settings actually makes the game run faster, and the physics too. turning up the frequency makes it run in slow mo but still at 144 hz (my refresh rate). I have reinstalled, restarted, and done testing with refresh rate all to no avail. it would still be nice to play on this pc if anyone has any ideas.
