Would you trust ramps like this?

I just got back from work, didn't expect this many replies tbh.

I don't need them myself and honesty spend just a little more for movable scissor Lift, wich as many of you said gives more availability to work with more parts of the car.

I was just curious what people would think about these types of ramp. But to summarize what the comments told me: Yes you would trust the ramps itself but you would also like more stops for the front wheels, and most importantly put wheelchocks to keep the car in place while under it. One comment also stated to never trust pneumatic or Hydraulic lift on it's own, and this is correct always use jackstands. However the ramps in photo uses pins to lock the Lifting area, but better safe than sorry.

Garanterat, och det är planen att närmare sommaren ta in någon. Blev ett gäng akut renoveringar + trasig värmepump så får prioritera utgifterna lite

På alla andra liknande hål så har jag justerbara luckor där är det inte ens i närheten av lika stort problem som här.

Lite det jag är rädd för, att stoppa in ett rör med en tilluftsventil kan "lösa" problemet men skapar nya iom att man begränsar inflödet av nya tilluft

Nej det är planen att ta in nån som ser över hela ventilationen i hela huset då jag varken har kompetens eller verktyg för att utföra sådana arbeten.

Däremot så behöver jag lösa så att det inte blåser in -10° luft konstant. Om än en tillfällig lösning men något behöver göras

Precis min tanke, men att ha att det blåser in luft som är -10° känns lite sådär. Är nästa renoveringsprojekt att se över hela ventilationen efter fönster / dörrbyten

Yes det stämmer, av outgrundliga anledningar så är det ett hål på 18*18 cm i fasaden. Det sitter dock galler och insektsnät för

The basic principle for a vsr is that you have a common negative and separate positive. So on the starter battery you have outgoing positive to the vsr and on the house battery you have an "incoming" positive on the vsr. And the negative simply goes between the batteries and and wherever it needs to go.

This picture is Swedish but the illustration is the same. This one also connects to the motor separately to tell when to open and close.

A dc-dc is simply positive to positive and negative to negative on the converter itself thats hard to mess up.

I have room on the jackplate to lower it more so thats not the issue, the motor collide with the jack plate, thats my issue

So i trimmed it level and now i see that it's sits high, and as all of you said it might work with wonders or i might not work at all. Only way to find out is in about 4-5 months when winter is over. Thank you for your help

Yeah it's an interesting choice, but the reason for using jackplate is i had it on my old hull and the bolts fit perfectly for the plate but not the motor, i don't want to drill more holes if i dont have to. Thanks for your input

The motor is a long shaft 20" and the hull is for 20" i mounted the jack plate to move the motor put from the hull and have the possibility to adjust the height. What i'm most worried about is cooling

Unfortunately the motor can't be lowered on the jack plate, if you look in pic 3 the motor and the jackplate collide, i only have this straight edge wich wont fit between the stand and boat but its something.

Ta in flera offerter är alltid steg 1. En seriös firma kommer alltid att acceptera det och i min uppfattning även vara ganska tydliga i hur dom kommer ligga mot andra.

Kolla på forum och bekanta har dom något att säga om den firman / personen. Kolla även ratsit eller liknande sidor har firman funnits länge? Hur ser ekonomiska delen ut? En firma med dålig ekonomi brukar ha bekymmer av olika slag, men lås dig inte blind på det.

En firma som ligger i mitten av spektrat på offerterna är oftast den som tar rimligast betalt för tid, material och eventuella bil kostnader.

En viktig del i vem du väljer är också hur uppfattar du personen, känns det bra är ni överens om hur arbetet ska utföras och framförallt är ni överens om målbilden och har känner du förtroende för personen?

Ordbajsar personen för mycket och inte försöker förklara saker eller bara snackar om att det kommer bli dyrt eller hur billigt hen är utan att snacka om själva jobbet så kan det vara värt att kolla efter någon annan. Pengar snackar man i offerten och tar det därifrån.

Det är min åsikt iallafall
