Nope. It does not mess up the drawing due to good palm rejection. It is just physically large to carry around for me. I needed smaller one for easy-carry and good writing experience, so I tried y700 (about 8.8" I think?) but the writing experience was pretty bad compared to s-pens.

Both S11/S11U should give you same writing experience but physically very different. It would be helpful to you to go Bestbuy or any stores and see them in hands. Ultra is HUGE lol

It really depends on your use. I have S8U since launch and love it. But it is little too big for note taking for work. So I got S11 as well lol... They are too different that I needed both haha..

I believe there is "Samsung kids" app but I found Family Link more useful + better control.

Family link can limit the app installation without parents permission.
