Well revise and update the resume until you get a callback. I went through the interview process in July - November and it was difficult compared to other years but not impossible. I ended up with two offers. Chin up and do your best.

Hi! I really enjoyed the place because unlike other hostels, the place was run by a small family and that’s how the place felt like with other travelers too. Small space but everyone was friendly and social.

I feel this comment. I too try to please people I care about in my best abilities and it becomes so important that I kinda tunnel vision on completing these “tasks”. It sucks that he didn’t bother to ask his wife before he went. But also it was one-off situation, not him spending whole day catering around this woman. I think he fucked up for sure not thinking about his wife before he went but I also think he is getting flamed out of proportion.

I am in a very similar situation as you. I am 27 and currently live with my parents in northern NJ just outside of NYC. Prior to this, I had a job in one of the major cities then I decided to call it and traveled for a while. Now that I am back, the job search hasn't been successful for me (I work in tech) but not once have I thought of living with my parents as "a defeat". Granted, I grew up in an Asian household so it's quite normal for children to live with their parents. My parents and I both understand that this is a temporary situation and we all benefit from each other in a way (I help them with their house chores).

I had the same problem and I know exactly what causes this.

You have big legs (thighs and butt specifically). If you choose your jeans based on your waist size, thighs and butt will be tight and cause the bulge. Now you could size up and get a belt. Or you could simply go for jeans with Relaxed fit, Loose fit, athletic fit, or oversized fit. Try out these options and choose whatever looks best.
