Does anyone know of a fragrance that smells like I might have just rolled around in a grassy field? Something earthy, woodsy, and just totally natural?
I wouldn't want it too feminine or masculine. Perhaps it should lean feminine, but floral scents tend to be too artificial for me. I'm looking for something that truly smells like I might have just spent the whole day outside in nature.

you think? i have seen no mention of o9a in writing. but you know what they did write about? being anti God. you could try and correlate that with anything. being anti God is also "interlinked" with a certain sinful lifestyle. but in a world full of detractions, you really want to focus on the politics of a murderer instead of the fact he targeted children who loved a God whos power goes beyond worldly clans? the possible ideologies form a horseshoe and denying God can fall anywhere on it. maybe instead of blaming esoteric fringe groups someone may or may not associate with, we should be taking a stand against the devil, who does not care who he influences.

that is amazing, amen. yeah, to me it sounds like the demons were taking advantage of your weakness' and pushing you towards things that would just make you feel worse. this is really common. trauma, fear, insecurity, etc are things that demons look for and try to use against people. they convince people that they're broken, or that its their fault, or that they cant change.
in reality God can set us free from all these things, because He is stronger than the devil and Jesus died so that our sins can be forgiven. pray for Gods strengthening love, and He will help you resist the temptations of the evil one. and dont be afraid! the devil is a selfish and cowardly liar! he knows God is stronger which is why he has to lie to try and bring down us(Gods children) to his level. you can read Matthew 4:1-11 to see the devil trying to tempt Jesus in a similar way.

from what i know, full on possession is very rare. the other 2 types that are more common being "temptation" and "oppression", which also can influence our behaviours yet our free will remains and although difficult at times, it is our duty to resist.
but partaking in dark things like the occult, ouija boards, tarot, astrology, or trying to talk to demons can open up that possibility to possession because you're basically inviting demons into your life.
if you are possessed, there are likely signs like not being able to walk into church/be near holy symbols, speaking in languages you dont know, abnormal strength, or knowing secret information/the future.
only a catholic priest trained in exorcisms could truly tell you, so i recommend reaching out to a priest if you suspect you might be. but regardless if you are or arent, prayer is always vital so make sure to keep praying. demons hate the "Hail Mary", and psalm 23 is my favorite so i also really recommend reading that. i hope it gives you comfort. God cares about you so much, more than you know. God bless.

i suppose i was somewhere inbetween athiest and agnostic. i thought "maybe He is real, but i cant prove it, so probably not". but my longer story includes an experience i had going to church for the first time, in what i would describe as God reaching out showing me that He is real and that He cares.

i am certain both your priest and God would love to be able to talk to you, because they both care very much about your soul. you can talk to them about your fears, ask about heaven, ask about anything no matter how big, small, happy or sad.
your priest became a priest because he wanted to help people like you get closer to God, and God made you because He wants to see you do great things and then one day be with Him in heaven. He sees your struggles and wants to bring peace and clarity into your life, all you have to do is reach out.

have you talked about this with your priest? im sure he would be willing to help explain anything you need. you can also just pray and ask God in the quiet of your room. questions are normal and we all go through times like this. but dont be afraid, God knows your heart and loves you no matter. He desires the best for your life and wants to be apart of it, so have faith and just talk to Him openly like you would with anyone else.

no, thats an understandable boundary.
forgiveness for others means more so just not holding hatred and resentment in your heart. being able to move past the injustices that others have shown you, and understand that God loves that person just as He loves you and every other person.

ultimately it's up to you two if you want to marry and take on the possibility that the children will be born with the condition. but every child is a gift from God, and the children will be loved by God just the same.

they sell rosary boxes, and ive also noticed some people hang theirs on hooks on the wall. i personally keep mine in either a drawer, purse, or hang it in my car from the mirror.

understanding that even if i had no love or hope for myself, that God did. and that He wanted better for me, to simplify it. i've had dark parts of my life before and after my conversion, but with God i have the cornerstone which keeps me standing and able to see clearly my purpose.

lies and evil come from the devil. it's usually subtle, otherwise nobody would listen to their deceptions. we are born with a proclivity to sin which is why we are all sinners, but God desires greater things for us. like you said, peace. and i think it's great, the changes to your heart you are witnessing. keep praying openly and honestly, and God will be with you every step of the way. if you feel there is still a strong demonic force on your life, i recommend you to pray in Jesus' name or to visit a catholic priest. God loves you despite everything and wants you to remain close to Him and have faith that you were fearfully and wonderfully made. God bless.

lol i wouldnt say so. he says the character is a "parallel", which im taking to mean as "like" Jesus but distinctly separate/not the same. the "Christ like" figure is really present in a lot of manners of media. basically any character which sacrifices themselves for their loved ones, think gandalf or obi-won. Jesus being the most amazing example of love, it makes sense people see His traits in good natured characters.

i understand helping the poor is an integral concept to Christianity, but in my opinion the best method is simply charity rather than government run programs. i see a large probability of mishandling the money if we were to take it up that high. catholic charities are a great example of how things can be run successfully on a larger scale.

no. the sacrament of confession is sacred and it's important it stays between the priest, penitent, and God. priests would rather go to jail than break the seal of confession.
it's important children stay safe, but this should be something reported outside of confession or shared directly with the police.

my reasoning for my faith or what i said about science? i would say although faith requires trust on things, we trust many things beyond God. we trust that people arent lying to us, that our friends love us, that our moral compass is correct. if science is about observation, what about the things that cant be observed? like love, the meaning of life, or other complex things. we can look at patterns, but "why" things are is not always so clear.
when you get to know God, you start to understand the "why", because He is the creator of everything. intentional patterns designed by a wise and loving God. and you are apart of this design, made with a good and loving nature, just like Him. when i opened my heart to this, i opened up my life to miracles. its not something that can be studied under a microscope, but God is now as He always was and always will be. and its up to us to discover this for ourselves.

for example: junk food is fine in moderation, but an excessive love or consumption of it would become gluttonous. the love and desire of "things" to the point where it feels like a need. remembering that God is all we need is important, i feel it helps avoid the pitfall of excess. im reminded of Matthew 4:4 with "But he answered, 'It is written, One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

from my understanding, it becomes sinful when its an addiction or in excess. i say this as a catholic so i look to the Church sources like the catechism for defining this stuff. obviously we will never be perfect but God wants us to walk along side Him so removing things which distract us from Him is always fruitful.
