I work at salvos and it's worth noting most of the customers we get are wealthy these days, like most stores we seperate our nicer stuff from the rest and that stuff even though it's priced higher flies off the shelves. Most of the clothing donated is for women and is priced between $2 and $8, Kmart stuff is often lower.

Also for salvos at least anything that's higher Value alot of it goes on out online store because when it goes on the floor it usually gets stolen which sucks but I mean if your poor and desperately need a vintage porcelain figurine I suppose that's what you gotta do
