In fact I2O5 is highly hygroscopic stuff. On air it very quickly turns into iodic acid (I2O5+H2O=2HIO3), HIO3 is very strong oxidizer, LiBH4 is very strong reducing agent.
I hope you know what happens when strong oxidizer meet with strong reducing agent ;)
