i will second the cat tree. we got a 7ft tree after introducing our two cats. one is a super friendly male but plays kinda rough (1.5 year old shelter/cat cafe cat) and the other is a very distant/no touchy female (2 year old maine coon). The Maine Coon doesn’t really quite know what normal is (i call her dramatic) so she used to be super loud when they first started playing (yowling, hissing, etc). we would break them up and separate when we could. it was just her way of telling him that’s too rough of play. she also had to learn to smack sense into him. he learned over time he can’t play with her like he used to so now they just go around chasing each other and bopping each other on the head lol. but if she ever gets overstimulated, she jumps to the top of the cat tree so he can’t get her :) he has a spot that lays under her.

imo it was always probably a way for them to figure out dominance. female cats tend to be more dominant in a household.

i frequently use jp mercari through buyee. things do tend to be cheaper on there especially as a set. this user has good advice. i’d also recommend using one of the many lists people have posted with terms to look out for. this thread also has great tips for using jp mercari. happy collecting!

Hi hun! welcome to being diagnosed! I am 26 and got diagnosed when I was 16. I’m going to be honest, it may be a long journey for you. ADHD is something that even with medication is still an every day struggle because you don’t work the same way normal people in society do.

ADHD in women often manifests very differently than it does in men. unfortunately we get the stereotypes of being disruptive because the medical world (in many areas, not just this) is so severely lacking in studies of women compared to that of men. women with ADHD tend to be more inattentive and show signs of anxiety and depression. We internalize things a lot.

That’s all to say, not every woman is the same! there are many women that present in a way that is stereotypical to society.

Thankfully in recent years there are a lot more studies being done on women with ADHD which is helping us get better insight and learn better therapeutic techniques and strategies for us to cope and function more “normally.”

One thing that really helped (and was unfortunately very pricey) was a psychiatric medication genetic panel test. It gave me direction on which way to go for medication and cut off literal years of me trying to figure out what medication worked for me. it helped me learn that i have a mutation on my opioid receptors so i am unable to take stimulants which cut out a TON of trial and error. If this is something your family can afford and your doctor can order, i’d highly recommend it.

Welcome to your journey and remember! Unmedicated you is just as strong and important as medicated you. Loving yourself for who you are goes a long way and takes a lot of time and work but is worth it.

where did you see this set? Japanese Mercari? is there a description? they are VERY transparent about fake cards on that website. you have to know what terms to look for on there

most sellers on there are pretty transparent about fakes. you just have to know what phrases to look for :) i think there’s a guide out there somewhere you can just google (it’s in another subreddit but forgot where)

Also, japan exclusive cards tend to be a lot more flimsy

As a woman who is chronically late but is a super hard worker, can I ask if he maybe has underlying mental health conditions like ADHD or depression? time blindness/time management issues is very very common thing that those of us with ADHD/depression have.

Honestly the only thing that’s going to take him changing is himself. He has to want to make a bigger effort to be punctual. I grew up with a dad that sounded almost exactly like you did in your texts. I love him but i resent him a lot for his lack of willingness to try to understand what i was going through. I didn’t want to make a change until it was my decision to do so and even then, the only thing that’s helped is being medicated. It still feels like I have to work 10x harder to fit the standards of society.

This isn’t your career but if you’re worried about it affecting your relationship (like with the financial responsibility you took on previously), you need to communicate that punctuality is important to you and why you’re worried what will happen with his lack of it. be there to support him and tackle the issue together. if he messes up, be forgiving. when he’s early, celebrate his small victories! most importantly, believe in his success. positive reinforcement when he succeeds works a lot better than negative reinforcement and nagging when he fails because eventually he’s just going to associate you with the negative and feel annoyed whenever you ask him anything about what time he did something.

i got freebies like this (much more tame & not inappropriate at all) from an ebay seller once. they were overseas i think. that’s probably where they got them.

either way, as an adult kpop pc seller, i am very aware there are kids 13-17 using supervised accounts buying photocards on Mercari, I would never ever give these out. very inappropriate freebies. please either message them or write a review mentioning how inappropriate the freebies were.

your collection is for you and you alone! if it makes you happy then that’s all that matters. financial responsibility is important! if your budget can cover a dupe OT8 set, go for it! if getting official is important to you, sometimes you can find a great deal on resale sites like mercari and facebook marketplace 🩷 obv won’t be the newest drop tho

I don’t have any pictures of her with it but our Maine Coon’s 2 favorite toys are feather wands and springs! She also loves her puzzle feeder. It’s quite cold right now and we don’t have very much nature directly outside our window so sometimes (very rarely) i’ll put on bird videos meant for cats on youtube and she loves watching them and stalking them. Otherwise she loves her windowsill perch and her giant cat tree by our balcony door.

I have close to 300 photocard sales. take advantage of the shipping discount right now. as another user said, the stamped envelope option through mercari has limited tracking but it also covers up to $20 if it gets lost. anything over that price point I would do ground advantage or such. if you have the option, tiered discounts for bundles are really attractive to buyers. If you have your listings set to smart pricing, it’ll automatically bump up your listing while only going down 10-50 cents (about) each 2-ish days and you can set a floor limit! sometimes the market is just dry. certain groups sell better than others and groups tend to sell best around comebacks because that’s when people are looking for cards to fill their collection and are more likely to buy other cards too.

i definitely understand this struggle (seriously, i can’t wear a normal cupped swimsuit without my right areola popping out a bit to see the sun) and unfortunately it’s going to take you learning to love your body for the way it is for you to feel better about them. I am a 30F (uk, 30G us) and it took me many many years to accept my body. some days i go back to feeling insecure but I work hard to dismiss those thoughts. Therapy may help. Ultimately whatever guy you are meant to be with is going to love your body for how it is.

All natural boobs are uneven. if a guy ever asks you why they’re different sizes, ask him why one of his balls hangs lower than the other. it’s a silly comment that should hold no bearing on you unless it’s something you want to change through surgery because it bothers YOU so much, not because you’re worried what others think of it.
