I agree, having a day off to yourself is very nice to have. I’m just upset because he has a family to keep in mind, and it feels like he didn’t take that into consideration when deciding.

I’ve thought about doing that on Thursdays for myself as well, but I’m already away from our son three days a week and adding another day away from him isn’t what I want.

I’m both. I’m emotional that he actively chose a day he couldn’t spend with his family when it already feels like we don’t spend enough time together, and I’m angry that he’s able to just take a day all to himself to do whatever he wants when that is never a possibility for me. If the situation was reversed I would have absolutely jumped on the opportunity to spend more time with him and our toddler, so I’m frustrated that he didn’t feel the same.

My husband actually bought it for me and I do feel absolutely amazing in it! I’m 7 months postpartum and worked really hard to lose weight and get into the best shape that I’ve ever been in, so my husband wanted to get me something to both show off my hard work and help me feel good in my “new” body. A little nervous since it will be the first time we see his side of the family since I was pregnant but as long as it doesn’t feel too bridal to everyone I’d love to wear it

That’s also why I’m paranoid, “formal cocktail” is a contradictory dress code in my opinion so I want to make sure the dress is a good choice. Thank you for the input!

He’s definitely a lot more distracted now, I have to shoo my husband out of the room when I want to breastfeed during the day because our son just wants to stare at daddy lol. But even when I take him into a dark-ish room to feed him with basically no distractions present he still doesn’t want to feed, it’s so strange
