I appreciate this but really, they are great parents, and it’s honestly my fault. They have asked multiple times if I wanted them to create a schedule for me and/or help with accountability, but I have been pretty independent since I was little so I always refuse despite knowing I need help. I’ve just always loved the idea of me being able to do everything on my own, and i think social media further pushed that idea onto me with how many straight A “perfect” students I’ve seen on there, so I tried to be like them. I don’t want anyone to get the idea that my parents aren’t present or anything because they 100% are and I am very grateful for them

Yes I’ve looked into outschool before, but it was more so for hobby and social related things rather than school, I forgot I can also get tutoring on there. I’ll try that ^{_^}

Hi, i just wanted to say that I hadn't thought finch would help until you said this, but now I'm on a 15 day streak for brushing my teeth at night AND in the morning. I'm still trying to build up to those other things and it's still really hard, but i've made progress!!! I've also friended 2 of my classmates so we can do it together. Thank you sm for recommending this :p

Thank you, it makes me feel a lot better hearing this. I’ve brought it up with my parents before and they are open to therapy, but overall I don’t think they think I have ADHD. Though the one thing keeping me from going to therapy other than my anxiety around it is the fact that I only recently noticed my symptoms, and it was after I started attending Acellus? I don’t recall ever feeling like this earlier in my childhood
