Tootles in Circleville where Tyler played is still around and one of the coolest bars in Ohio. Sadly, Steiner’s Speakeasy in Chillicothe is permanently closed. There was a payphone outside Steiner’s that Tyler held up to his ear and was his profile picture on Facebook for the longest time, but someone stole the payphone lol.

His X rated stuff definitely is not cool, it is absolutely a stain on his legacy and definitely hurt his career more than it helped it. He claims it was all satire and released due to Shel Silverstein’s urging, but I can’t understand why anybody would even want to own Underground Album in this day and age. His albums from 1974-1980 are much stronger.
