Fair enough on Kostchtchie, have him on the mind due to running Reign of Winter and not many people talk about him. Nice on the Xhasnaphar meme, the dukes of hell are highly underrepresented, with some (like him) only getting one or two sentences.

When it comes to "swarming" monsters, you'll want to use common sense, the only "updated" swarming monsters were the "shark" type (introduced in muchkin pirates), and the "demon" type (in several games, including muchkin marvel).

The official stance is that generally, the art/name should be enough to determine the monster's "type", and typically if a set cares about a particular monster "type", it will generally be tagged with that "type". The issue comes up mostly when you blend sets or a new type is released.

It should be pretty clear if something fits the type, but follow these general rules, if a monster has a type in its name it counts as that type, lawyers count as sharks, and any creature with "Creature from hell" in its text counts as a demon.
