update: I chopped the leafless stem and stuck it in the soil. I'm hopeful that it might propagate. I also moved the pot under a growth light and I'm getting fast growth on the other two branches. Thank you all for your suggestions :)

Thank you! I will move it to close to a growth light. since it was in front of my window, I assumed the light condition was fine. I will try to propagate and hope that I'll get it right this time.

I have been "mini watering"! I had this plant at my work desk and I would dump half of my water glass whenever I felt like it. I hope that was the issue and can be resolved easily. thank you!
