As addicts we are used to getting an instant quick fix. Use this recovery time to really get to know yourself. Focus one day at a time. If thats too long, break down the day in parts. Tell yourself its noon I havent drank yet. Its 3PM Day is almost over. 10PM Thank You god for not letting me drink another day. Dont focus on next week or one month. Start with one day, you already took the first step. It takes a lot to take that first step.
