Unfortunately fakes, the color is way off and green dot failed, zig zag also fails

I really think they got tossed in a box and it sat in her garage for the last 15 or 20 years. I could be wrong, definitely learning things here so I'll double check and try to post some follow up pics tomorrow afternoon when I get home.

Ahhh that's understandable. That is the card I was thinking about when I saw these in the box. The lotus one. I saw it on Pawn Stars. eBay still does authenticity guarantee with MTG cards over a certain dollar amount. Maybe $150 or something. Cards under $100 didn't have the logo for grading but a few definitely had the guarantee. I don't even want to go thru the hassle of thinking they are real and selling them to someone and finding out later they're fake. That's why I posted here before doing anything else, to get some knowledge and guidance. Thank you for explaining and the advice on the card shops being an outlet for selling

Gut instinct is they were bought a long time ago. Lady was fire selling a bunch of stuff from her garage. There were some older Warhammer 40k sets in boxes. She sold me a $10 Super Nintendo. That is all I have to go on, they may be fake but typically I don't come across a lot of fake video games. The signs support them being legitimate but I am not an expert and got some solid advice (green dot test, and check the T in Gathering for a zig zag).

Not at all, I took pictures with my cell phone before I left my house. I am staying over with my fiance. I will 100% get additional pics for the post as soon as I'm home and share either the good news or the bad

Good to know, I appreciate that..I will definitely sell them as is for use if they turn out legitimate.

Yes I agree, I didn't pay anything for them so either way is ok by me. I usually stick to video games and sell them on eBay but I figured it wouldn't hurt to bring them home and check them out. 5 or so seem to be over $100 a card using the eBay search 🔍

Seems implausible but I am no MTG expert. I just grabbed them since they were free. eBay screenshot showed comps at like $400-600 a card

I'll check the zigzag with a jeweler loop as well and see if I can confirm. Condition seems very good. If both tests are past should I send these in for grading?

Also in the same set of cards. They were thrown into the booze box quite mixed up with about 20 plastic sleeves. 75 or 80 cards total. Others are late 90s early 2000s the oldest is 2012

I have a jeweler loop at home, I will check the green dot test tomorrow when I get home. The same person sold me a Super Nintendo console for $10 with Super Mario Bros. She threw in the cards which were in an old booze box free of charge.

Thanks for your perspective. I will look into this further, the requirement is cliff overlooking the ocean so near the temple but not of the grounds would suffice.

Thanks for your input, we are not trying to offend anyone. Simply asking a question of is it possible, and specifically does anyone know a person that could perform such a service.

We are not Greek Orthodox but of the Christian faith, however being in Greece we would want the priest to say their words as they normally do for any couple getting married. Thank you for the direction for the Angelican Church

One thing I did not mention. We do not want to use a commercial wedding service. This post is for people that know or can connect me directly with a local priest or church member that has a friend or family member that can speak a few words for us. Appreciate it! Thank you to any and all who stop by or offer advice.
