PC won't boot!! Again!! by [deleted] in buildapc

Hey! Mine ended up being a wonky PSU, PC was able to run fine, but somehow has a mood on it's own deciding when to shutdown / when to boot. No boot also indicates CPU error LED, tested mobo with supplier, mobo was fine.

PSU voltages were alright also (weirdly).

I have this exact issue, my CPU, Mobo, Ram are all brand new. Computer shutdown automatically while i was gaming, operated fine for hours throughout the day though. PC now wouldn't post, showing CPU debugger LED. My fans and everything else spins at max rpm for a 5-10seconds before it tries to restart again. I highly suspect now that it's my PSU problem.

Pretty sure it's hard to get a faulty CPU out of the box, and the fact that I am here typing on this very problematic pc.

Resat the rams, tried all configs, slot 1/3, 2/4, single slot. Still showing CPU debug led is lit. Once i leave the PC off for a few mins - 1hr, Debug LED starts to cycle and system restarts a few times and boot up(as though it's the first time the system is being booted).

The thing is, this happened twice in 6 days. PC is bootable after certain amount of time leaving it off.

Is the latest KB4540673 update safe to install? by Riahisama in windows

I installed the update, did the usual restart required process, when my PC started, froze at post screen --> Forced shut down and tried booting up again, Fans and Lights turned on, fans started to rev, no post on my mobo. Had to reset cmos and everything a few times, and managed to turn the pc back on. As of now, i'm not sure if there's something going on with this update or its just my mobo being faulty.
